By booking, purchasing, or using any product or service provided by Affordable Car Accessories (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“the customer”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General

Affordable Car Accessories supplies and installs automotive accessories, including mobile installation services. These Terms & Conditions apply to all products, services, installations, quotes, and bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply.

2. Quotes & Payments

All quotes are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.

Prices may vary due to vehicle condition, access, or unforeseen installation complexity.

Payment is due in full upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed.

Failure to pay may result in additional fees or recovery action.

3. Customer-Supplied Products

If a customer supplies their own product:

We are not responsible for product quality, compatibility, or manufacturer defects.

Any issues arising from the supplied product are not covered under our warranty.

Installation is performed at the customer’s risk.

4. Warranty – Installation Work

4.1 Warranty Period

We provide a 12-month warranty on installation workmanship only, starting from the date of installation.

4.2 What Is Covered (Within 12 Months)

Fault with installation work:

The issue will be rectified free of charge.

4.3 What Is Not Covered (Within 12 Months)

Fault with the product (whether supplied by us or by the customer), or

No fault found after inspection

In these cases:

A $120 call-out fee applies per attendance

No labour charges will apply during the 12-month warranty period

5. Warranty – After 12 Months

After 12 months from the installation date:

No warranty is provided on installation or products.

Any required attendance will be charged at the full applicable rate, including:

Call-out fees

Labour

Parts (if required)

6. Product Warranties

Product warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

We do not guarantee product lifespan, performance, or suitability beyond installation.

Warranty claims for products may require the customer to deal directly with the manufacturer.

7. Mobile Installation Conditions

The customer must ensure the vehicle is accessible, safe, and ready for installation.

We are not responsible for delays or incomplete work due to:

Poor access

Unsafe environments

Vehicle modifications or pre-existing faults

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the installation service provided.

We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, modification, wear and tear, or external factors.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where applicable, statutory warranties apply.

10. Acceptance

By proceeding with a booking, purchase, or installation, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and Warranty Policy.
